This Arizona Chardonnay is the first of its kind for Four Tails! We’re excited to add a new white to our offering, made with love and care using fruit from our friends at Carlson Creek.
Harvested from the oldest 300 estate vines, whole cluster grapes were destemmed, then cold soaked on skins for 3 days prior to fermentation. The must was inoculated with carefully selected yeasts, pressed at dryness and then racked to barrel where it completed malolactic fermentation. The wine was nurtured for 29 months throughout élevage in neutral French and American oak barrels.

The must was inoculated with carefully selected yeasts, pressed at dryness and then racked to barrel where it completed malolactic fermentation. The wine was nurtured for 29 months throughout élevage in neutral French and American oak barrels, thrice racked. Four Tails used a gravity-flow system for bottling, to gently handle the wine and preserve delicate flavors.
This new Rose’ is reminiscent of our former Rose’s, but with a new twist. It’s still a darker, fun blend and only includes our estate fruit including Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, and Petit Verdot. It’s dry with a good amount of “fruitiness” that will leave you wondering what exactly you’re tasting. Fun by the fire or the pool!
Our 2022 vintage had the opportunity to age in neutral oak barrels for almost 24 months. It is crisp, refreshing, and continues to have the citrus flavors that we’re known for. Still the “white wine for red wine” drinkers, pairing very well with summer sausage or anything with cinnamon or nutmeg spices.
